A little back story to this man

Josh Bell

I have a wonderful hubby, named Josh. He supports our family so well, is so smart, and loves God and country, as well. I couldn’t be happier than I am with this man. He has brought me through many trials and tribulations, has been there through so many happy times, and is such a hard worker. I love him more than I could ever put into words and am so proud of his character, his devotion to our God and to our beautiful town.

He grew up working on his grandmother’s farm, with his uncle, brother and some cousins. They had a working dairy farm, and my hubby did just about everything you can imagine, working there. They also had a delivery van- delivering milk, ice cream, beef, and such. He did this when he was old enough to have his license. Yes, he delivered to my house, too! I had such a big crush on him for at least a year before he liked me… After we fell in love and got married (spent our honeymoon in Virginia), he started working for a local stove shop. To this day, he still works typically every other Saturday up to the farm. He’ll work, trading for firewood and sometimes pig meat. It works out really well for all of us.

He still works at the stove shop, and goes on the road to customer’s homes and installs stoves, maintains them, puts liners in, etc. They’re always very busy, which allows him to have job security. He is also the Chairman of the Select Board in our town. His main intent is to keep the taxes as low as he can for all residents. People have a lot of respect for him, and this makes me so proud. My hubby and I are Townies at heart, and probably always will be.

As a family, we attend a local church. We love our church, and also have many friends and family that we’re close to, as well. I cannot say enough that God has been so good to us. He has carried us through some very hard times, but has also blessed us with so many good times. I can’t thank Him enough for all He does for us.
